Default syco - the new skateboarding exercise machine

http://www.syco.com.au/video-images/your-video.php

did i search and nothing came up, so hopefully this has not bp'd

"Product Description

The product is actually a hybrid of several board sports and the conventional swing. The result is a product which is not confined solely to board sport enthusiasts, but can be used by anyone who wants to defy gravity. The beginner does not need any previous sports experience to ride Syco XT®. The product can be used by young and old, male and female, and even persons with disabilities like amputations and the blind. The greatest feature of the product is that it is fun to use; in fact it is so much fun that it actually becomes addictive.
With Extreme Sports and the Syco XT®

"Fitness is actually the by product of excitement and fun!"

Syco XT® is totally driven and controlled by the rider's muscles and in doing so the operator gets an all over body workout. The intensity of the cardiovascular workout depends on how hard the rider goes. There are no motors or electronics involved. The operation is simple, smooth, controlled, safe, fun, and addictive. Once you see someone using it you want to have a go, and soon as you get off you want to go again. It is the feeling a surfer gets at the end of a good wave, or a snowboarder at the end of a clean run. The sensation experienced is similar to that felt by the participants of extreme board sports, but unlike those sports the ride is safer. This exhilaration is very addictive to all that have experienced Syco XT®.
"Syco XT® is the ultimate Cross Trainer"

The product can be used in any weather in any season in any location. With Syco XT® you don't have to worry about: tides, winds, swell, wetsuits, rips, sharks, stingers, winter, snow, dry conditions, lift passes, lift lines, frost bite, skate bowl, crashing, broken bones, the list goes on and on. You can ride it with your ipod on to listen to your favorite music while you have an exciting workout."

Looks fun! Could be a great way to teach young kids the basic feel of board riding!
I wonder when it'll make it to the states?

Yea that looks fun as hell and a great training tool for kids....probably prohibitively expensive though.

i can imagine spoiled kids using this shit all day and going to the skate park and killing themselves. i'm sorry but this shit will never compare to riding fresh powder or hitting up a skate park. the health benefits of actually riding are far greater than hooking yourself up to this shit. you might get a little dizzy if anything. that and you risk losing all your friends and dignity

yeah totally, but if you look at it like an exercise machine to replace something like a treadmill, its way fucking cooler than one of those.
They should link it up with tony hawk and make it virtual.
