Somebody get Treasure Moment in here!

I read about 4 or 5 of Sacks' books, they are some of the most interesting and fascinating reads you can imagine. He describes cases that are stranger than most fiction, and reading about them gives you a great insight on how the brain works and how fragile it is.

To start reading Sacks I would recommend "The Man_Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat". It contains 24 essays about case histories, which are very well written and give you an overview of what pretty literally mindblowing medical conditions exist out there.

I last read it about 15 years ago, and even with my bad memory, I could still retell some of the stories.

Temporal lobe epilepsy I'd like to experience something like that, where I can be transported back in time and have all my scenes with me.

This is most interesting, I have not heard of this man before so thanks for sharing. I wonder if Ramachandran has anything of the sort. His video pops up too, I remember watching that years ago.
