Sheriff Threatens Feds With A SWAT Team

Tony DeMeo, Sheriff of Nye County, describes how he had to threaten the criminal Federal Bureau of Land Mangement and the criminal US Department of Forestry with armed SWAT teams if they attempted to illegally seize one of his constituent’s cattle.

One thing to remember:

The Sheriff is the law of the land......he is the highest law enforcement officer that is elected by his community. He has power over all types of offices. Being Sheriff is one of the most powerful positions you can have.

Federal agents wanted to seize some rancher's cattle. Sheriff asked them to provide a legal seizure warrant signed by a judge. Feds didn't have one, but were going to take the cattle anyways. Sheriff was like this shit is illegal. Feds threatened to use 'armed agents'. Sheriff was like "orly" and said they're not taking no cattle, and they'll have to go through SWAT.

Feds didn't say shit afterwards.

Sheriff is basically telling people how its his job to protect people from the feds doing illegal shit, literally -- it's in the constitution. Sheriff have a lot more 'power' than most people are aware of (even sheriff's themselves).

But he's a sherriff with more power than civilians.
